Prof Simon Dobson
Prof. Dobson is a computer scientist, a wannabe mathematician/astronaut, and a photographer. His main research interests these days are in complex systems, sensing, and data interpretation.
He works in St Andrews but live in Edinburgh, and also in Sligo in the West of Ireland for some parts of the year. Originally from Runcorn, just outside Liverpool in the north-west of England, and came to St Andrews by way of Newcastle upon Tyne, York, Oxford, and Dublin. Good luck tracing his accent!
